Action Research Centre
The Action Research Centre (ARC) is a non-profit organization focused on both research and intervention to achieve positive social change. It is often assumed that development activities will be more effective if they are founded on solid facts and evidence obtained through methodical study.
While ARC provides research assistance to other organizations (including non-governmental organizations, and national and international organizations). For almost fifteen years, ARC has been delivering HIV/AIDS preventive and care programs. ARC advocates provide high-quality conceptualization, strategic thinking, and execution of all research and program needs through skilled researchers and program specialists. ARC professionals have collaborated with a variety of national and international organizations.
Impact Evaluation using Quasi-Experimental Design and Social Return on Investment (SROI) are some of their approaches. The Action Research Centre believes in evidence-based programming delivered through an action research strategy, in which research findings are used to improve program delivery in a dynamic fashion for increased impact.
