The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), founded in 1968, is the premier bilateral chamber fostering economic engagement between India and the US. It was created by Ambassador Chester Bowles and other visionaries and leaders from the industry at the time to improve US-India economic engagement. There are currently more than 1500+ members of IACC, who represent a variety of US and Indian industries.
IACC’s primary goal is to advance business, trade, and economic ties between India and the United States. Through a number of proactive business-oriented programs, IACC encourages bilateral trade, investment, and technology transfer and enables commercial partnerships, joint ventures, marketing alliances, and strategic alliances. Companies that are members of the IACC work in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, engineering, construction, consumer products, electronics, information technology, pharmaceuticals, consultancy, travel & tourism, etc.
