Under the Bombay Public Trust Act of 1950, WWTI is a registered NGO. Founded in 1984 to adopt orphaned, abandoned, and poor minors and provide them with care and shelter. Beginning in 1984 with 8 children in residential care, First Children’s Home-Bal Anand has now expanded to 55 children. Ten to twelve other centers, Bal Ashraya and Bal Uday Shishu Greh, located in Nagpur and Bhandara, respectively, offer shelter to children.

Until an adopting family is located, the kid will be given the warmth, attention, and material comforts of a home and family in an atmosphere with professionally trained employees, volunteers, and caretakers. With the help of several volunteers, organizations from both India and outside, and financial support, Bal Anand has been able to carry out its purpose.

Worldchildren Welfare Trust India

WWTI is a licensed NGO registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, Orphanages and other Charitable Homes (Supervision and Controls) Act, 1960, and Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act, 2000. Beginning in 1984 with 8 children in residential care, First Children’s Home-Bal Anand has now expanded to 55 children. Ten to twelve other centers, Bal Ashraya and Bal Uday Shishu Greh, located in Nagpur and Bhandara, respectively, offer shelter to children.

Bal Anand is a home for special kids. A whole floor was set aside for their development and care, with workers on duty around the clock under the supervision of skilled professionals. Children attending special schools in India, including Sulabha School for Mentally Retarded and ADAPT, now called the National Resource Centre for Inclusion. Home-based supplementary therapy and education, including yoga, dancing, and arts and crafts are taught.

Action Research Centre

The Action Research Centre (ARC) is a non-profit organization focused on both research and intervention to achieve positive social change. ARC advocates promote the incorporation of development support research into program implementation. It is often assumed that development activities will be more effective if they are founded on solid facts and evidence obtained through methodical study.

While ARC provides research assistance to other organizations (including non-governmental organizations, and national and international organizations). For almost fifteen years, ARC has been delivering HIV/AIDS preventive and care programs. ARC advocates provide high-quality conceptualization, strategic thinking, and execution of all research and program needs through skilled researchers and program specialists. ARC professionals have collaborated with a variety of national and international organizations.

Impact Evaluation using Quasi-Experimental Design and Social Return on Investment (SROI) are some of their approaches. The Action Research Centre believes in evidence-based programming delivered through an action research strategy, in which research findings are used to improve program delivery in a dynamic fashion for increased impact.

Most importantly, he maintains communication with regular Kashmiris, particularly religious minorities, who are often the first to notice dramatic shifts in Kashmir’s complex political scene.

Forum For Autism

The Forum For Autism [FFA] is a public trust that was founded in 2001 and is registered as a public trust and society as a parent body to empathize with one another, understand their concerns and anxiety, and fight the common cause. The major goal of FFA, as stated in the Memorandum, is to improve facilities for the diagnosis, education, training, and rehabilitation of people with AARDD, and to do so through a variety of activities. There are 350 members in the Forum, including parents and professionals, although over the years around 2000 families have joined at some point.

The FFA maintains a library of books on Autism and associated illnesses. To tackle developmental abnormalities, FFA maintains a database of various therapists such as speech therapists, auditory retraining, sensory integration, special schools, career guidance, and special dieticians. FA is a member of Action for Autism, a renowned national parent organization based in New Delhi. Under the National Trusts Act, FFA has also applied to be registered with the National Trust for Autism (created by the Government of India). With this relationship, FFA intends to expand its footprint in the areas of autism awareness and aiding the cause of those afflicted.
