Talat Aziz
Born in Hyderabad, India to prominent Urdu author and poet, Abdul Azeem Khan. After completing his ISC, Talat attended Hyderabad Public School before enrolling in the IIMC's B.Com (Hons) Program. Talat Aziz received his initial musical training from the Kirana Gharana.
Following his initial instruction, Talat studied music with Ghazal master Mehdi Hassan. In addition to acting in various TV series, Talat has also written music for them. He has performed as an actor in TV series such as Noorjehan, Sahil, Manzil, Dil Apna Aur Preet Parayee, and Nida Fazli's Sahil. He acted in the movie "Dhun" as well.
He was Music India Company's top recording artist between 1979 and 1984. He began working for HMV in 1984, which is now Saregama Music. He also briefly collaborated with Venus Records during the time when he recorded several successful records.
