NuLEAP was established in 2010 as a spin-off from Megaware Technologies. Megaware Technologies, the parent firm, was formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1991. Megaware has been serving the Life and Laboratory Science communities since its establishment. Megaware spun off NuGenesis Technologies Corporation (formerly Mantra Software) in 1996. In early 2004, Waters Corporation purchased NuGenesis Technologies. The NuLEAP team has a varied skill set, integrating technological and scientific domain experience. NuLEAP's products and services are at the intersection of information technology, software, and life sciences.

They are the market leader in Laboratory Informatics and Scientific Data Management, two rapidly increasing sectors. NuLEAP recognizes the significance of regulatory compliance. They have extensive in-house knowledge of GxP, Part 11 guidelines, regulated market solutions, and validation.
